On Tuesday night at about 1030, someone broke into our building - smashing up our entryway with a 5lb rock to do so. The theory is that he was attempting to break into the store downstairs with whom we share a common hallway. Apparently, the same (or similar) person tried to do the same thing on the other side of the block on Sunday night at around the same time.

If you live on this block, please be aware of any unusual or suspicious activity...

And yes, for those of you keeping track, this is the second time in 2mos our building has been broken into. Ugh.

    Thanks for the information. Can you be more specific regarding where your building is located? Is it on Fulton or Lafayette, what's the cross street? :?

    I'm on Fulton btw South Portland + South Elliot...the other break-in was on the Lafayette St side of the block.
