FRIDAY AM: Ferrer press conference AGAINST Ratner proposal

WARNING: MESSAGE only to those opposed to or seriously concerned about the Ratner plan. For those who support the plan, no need to read on.

The Ferrer Campaign has scheduled a press conference to emphasize his position on the Atlantic Yards proposal. He has invited only community members to the event, not politicians.

When: October 28, 2005 @10:30AM
Where: Corner of Atlantic/5th Av.

Freddy is making this one of his big Brooklyn issues. Perhaps he has not gone as far as project opponents would like, but his criticisms are bringing attention to the issues in a way that can only help the opposition to Ratner. At least Freddy is listening to the community whereas Mr. Bloomberg is only listening to the developer.

so, if there is any way at all for you to come to this event tomorrow, please do so.
