what's my dog? — Brooklynian

what's my dog?

Subject: what's my dog?

So I just had my crazy little mutt DNA tested to see what breed he is. I won't get the results for another 4-6 weeks, but in the meantime, does anyone want to take a guess? (Unless his parents were pure breeds, the test results may not be very accurate.) Here's info about the test: http://www.wisdompanel.com

Also--I've never posted photos before so I may not be successful at doing it... :)

so, what does this little test cost?
since pure breeds were bred from other breeds, I can't imagine how this actually works . . .

btw, there's instructions on picture posting on the ASK BROOKLYNIAN board (bottom of the main index)

  • It's very expensive (anywhere from $100-$200 depending on your vet) and probably not worth it. But it was a gift, so why not!

I don't know his background, his age (vets can only guess), his breed, or really anything about him. Doesn't make me love him any less--in fact I couldn't love anything more. He's the best dog I could ask for (even though he can be totally rotten sometimes), but I think it will be interesting to see what the results are.
  • Too cute! I second the Jack Russell mutt guess.
I bet he's a loving ball of energy when he gets hyper!
  • I got the results. Yep--He's a Heinz 57!
