Anybody have any recommendations for a good place to get corned beef and cabbage in Park Slope?

Last year (or maybe the year before?) , I went to Snooky's...

Nope. It is now the much-maligned Elementi

As for corned beef and cabbage....I can't think of any place that has it on the menu, but you might try calling 200 Fifth or PS Ale House and see if they have it on the menu today as a special
  • White Eagle (aka Eagle Provisions) on 5th Ave and 18th St in 'southwest greenwood slope ramparts' wherever does awesome to-go plates of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots every year. I got mine on Saturday, they were $6.50 each, they should still have some today I'm guessing.
  • Bar BQ in South Slope is doing Smoked Corned Beef today. Not sure if it's go though.
  • Terrace Bagels on Prospect Park West between 16th & Windsor Place makes them, couldn't tell you how good it is though since I can't stand the stuff myself, but they always run out of it along with the green bagels on St Patties Day. They usually make it one day a week, it's either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
