You may want to check some of the African shops. Although they have women's clothes in the windows, they guys master tailors. There is a shop on Myrtle - between Vanderbilt and Claremont

If you're in Bed Stuy - Fulton Street just off Franklin Avenue
(right across from the Goodwill Store)

Another on Fulton St. at corner of Washington.

I used all of them except the one on Myrtle. He was a bit pricey but his work is great!
