The nice tire guys on 4th Ave, in the NYT

Nice!

That tire joint is the greatest place. When I owned a car it was incredibly reassuring to know that there was a place where I could get a flat fixed at any hour of the day for just $5.00. But (sigh), i wonder how much longer they'll be there with the laughable vision of the "Park Avenue-ization" of Fourth Avenue?

I saved my paper copy of the article to drop off to the shop, although I keep forgetting to take it with me...
I figure they might enjoy having extras -
Well, is it not just possible that the Park Avenue-isation of 4th might tail off what with the financial woes and the lost jobs on Wall Street?
BTW - that brand new building on 4th - I hear the one bedrooms rent for $3000! -
PS - those tire guys are nice. They won't even take money if you use their air hose for your bike tires.
Howdy, Stranger!
