The shooting erupted on the Brooklyn-bound platform of the No. 3 and 4 trains at the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue station at 5:21 p.m., officials said.

    Came on this last night. I was getting off at Nostrand anyway. At 6pm, they were sending you past the still closed platform at Utica to the next stop to catch a Manhattan bound train back one stop to Utica. FWIW.

    A teenager was in serious condition Monday after being shot at a subway station in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn.

    The boy was waiting for the 4 train on the mezzanine at the Utica Avenue stop when gunfire broke out, wounding him. Police said the shooting occurred at around 5:21 p.m.

    He was taken to Kings County hospital, the Fire Department said.

    A large police presence gathered on Eastern Parkway near the shooting scene.

    Police are looking for two males in their teens or early 20s, wearing red caps and black jackets.

    Because of a police investigation, southbound 3 and 4 trains were bypassing the Utica stop.

    I was coming out of the shuttle stop today (Botanical Gardens stop- although its on Eastern Parkway and Franklin- which is also the Franklin 2,3,4,5). Two young men (teens) who were having their picture taken by another. They were both holding blue bandannas and making the Crips sign. Sigh.

    I guess I now know what "territory" I live in.

    Hmm. I thought that was all "Blood" over there.

    Maybe I'm not paying close enough attention.

    i've seen bloods and crips tags all over the place from atlantic to eastern pkwy b/w nostrand and classon
