I voted Mooney's because there are lots of food options right around it, and it looks like a huge dive (every time I walk by there is a different busted 50 year old smoking outside).
-
Mooney's is a huge dive, in a good way. And while they don't serve food, they don't mind at all if you bring some in. Cheap-ish pitchers, too.
-
I don't suppose they have any fine vintages of wine, do they? Or at least cider, for us non-beer drinkers?
-

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that they don't have cider and if by chance they do have wine, you don't want to be drinking it. -
I should also point out in case any have forgotten are are not in the know, Weds. is karaoke night at Freddy's.

I've always wanted to try Mooney's, but I voted for Freddy's again. The talk about the place reminds me that we need another pool/air hockey night. That was fun. -
Moony's (darts) + wife out of town = Oh yeah!!!

All of the one's that didn't result in me puking my own lungs out. -
I'd go to Freddy's, too.
-
I'm working 3-11 this Wednesday, but I can get there (wherever "there" is going to be) by around midnight if any of you guys think you'll still be around.

WEIRD, some friends and I were just talking about that the other day! We had them everywhere too. -

That's fine. They're open 'til 4... -
Mooney's is way more Prospect Heights than Soda could ever hope to be! Better jukebox as well.

I second the quality jukebox. -
Should we call it for Mooney's?

Last week the poll closed Wednesday morning. For the record, I'd like to change my vote from "your mom" to Mooney's (sorry, I had a Nader moment). -

You don't want to go to Mooney's- they have a dartboard, and I'd be inclined to make the time to go... -

Oh that was you!
And I jumped the gun then. That's okay. Vote for Freddy's everyone else -- I don't want to back a loser twice!nybt wrote: You don't want to go to Mooney's- they have a dartboard, and I'd be inclined to make the time to go...
Though, maybe I should throw my weight behind Mooney's just to see hell freeze over!

Unfortunately, I can't adjust the results of the poll, but trust that when it's over I will add your percentage to Mooney's. It's my fault for tempted you with the mother thing in the first place, you sick, fucking perv. 8) -

I'm truly sorry that I don't make it out more often... If I weren't so busy with helping people realize their dream of homeownership, being a devoted husband, and saving the world one pregnant cat at a time, I'd be there every week! :P -

Truly, you make Mother Teresa look like Attila the Hun. :P -

This Weds. at Freddy's isn't karaoke night (which is only once a month) -- it's Cringe Reading Series night. -

Thanks, it's not like I actually keep track of any of this hippy-dippy-love-hug shit.
