That's me in happier times . . . any takers?
  • Unless a sex change was involved, Drunken Revival first appeared talking about an ex-girlfriend filing a complaint and how he inadvertantly got arrested for an outstanding warrant.
    you ruined it

    Yeah, I'm a downer. haha!
  • Down boy!

    NEVER!!!!
  • Going back to the original topic, I used to live on 3rd St, and since I preferred the B to the F, I'd often take the hike to Flatbush. When I walked past PS 321, one of the crossing guards always made me smile. She greeted all the kids in a high, happy-sounding voice, saying "Good morning my little angels! It's so good to see you!" All the kids seemed to blossom under the attention, the younger ones especially. It really brightened up my commute.
  • "Good morning my little angels! It's so good to see you!"
    probably a pedophile

    Killjoy.

There are a few customers of mine that perk up my day when I see them. One has the bluest eyes and an amazing smile. Makes me want to squeal like a schoolgirl!
  • I also love the red head @ Ale House. She is awesome.

Also the morning attendant at the Union Street subway station (Manhattan bound) -- older gentleman. He's the best. I even wrote a letter to the MTA about how great he is.

Also the dudes working in the raw bar window of Blue Ribbon -- they gave me my first oyser and if you smile at them they always wave back.

OK last one -- the older guy at A&S (i think he's the owner). Love him.
  • that hot girl i saw the other day. you know who you are. yea, you.
  • How can you attract women with that big zipper head and that hat?
Are you ever out of uniform? Ditch the black!
You're also always smiling, though you never say a word.
And how about those oversized mitts?
What does Lady Met say about all this, not to mention the little Metsies?
  • Another nod for the bartender at the Ale House with the red hair. She is hysterical!!

I think it's time for me to resign from this forum.
  • I have a few votes in on this one..

The nice young lady on save on 5th with brunette hair who wears a brooklyn tee shirt often. She has such an up spirit .

Lovely older Irish man I usta meet at the salvation army on 5th Ave. Then we got to know each other and he told me about his brother who had passed away and other specifics about his life. I think that place and those days were a safe environment to share but now he just says a little hello.
  • It's so funny, so many of the people listed are people that have perked up my day too. :D Amazing how a little kindness or a nice smile can affect so many people. This thread here is a social experiment; showing the power that a positive attitude can have. (Or red hair!) Hmm... makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong!
And don't mention my previous posts!! I don't walk around with a ticker tape across my head!
