Cringe people wrote in an e-mail: "It's been two months since the last Cringe, so we have to ask you, is our playing hard-to-get working? Do you want us more? We know you do. It's okay, we want you too. Also, before I just tack on the same old same old at the end of this email, we'd like to really encourage people to feel free to bring stuff and volunteer to read without being on the list. I mean, we're at Freddy's, not the freaking Viper Room; just come on up."

Too bad I didn't immediately go upstairs and write about that in my journal, because then I'd have something to read this week. Okay, I'm going to go eat some soup in my bathrobe and watch Matlock.
