Area around Pacific Bond?????

I live on Atlantic between Bond and Nevins. I love the area. Great mix of people, plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. I believe they are opening a new bar or coffee shop on the corner of Pacific & Bond right across from the dry cleaners. Close to all trains – the A/C train is just a few blocks up toward Fulton Mall. Lot of dogs in the area (I don’t know if that’s a pro or con for you.) The area is quite; again I live on Atlantic so besides the traffic noise, I have no problems. Yes the projects are a few blocks down and the detention center is just down the street – if that concerns you. I’ve lived there two years, never had a problem.
Right now they are doing street construction on Pacific closer to Bond but of course that won’t last forever. All in all, I love my neighborhood.

love the area. i live on atlantic avenue and 3rd ave. right by hanks, the post office, walgreens, etc. its a wonderful neighborhood. our apartment is actually in the back, and not on atlantic avenue so its always very quiet.

been here 3 1/2 years.... the best thing is that its a 5 minute walk to park slope, fort greene, smith street, so much variety.
