The Vue
The Vue really lives up to its name by providing me with an intimate view of the life going on INSIDE the building. As people have been moving in over the past week or two, I have seen way too much of the new residents, literally. Thankfully a lot of window shades have been put up lately. Hopefully everyone will soon have shades.

That's the funny thing with these new all glass modern condos. There are these huge plate glass windows at street level--the openness seems nice till you realize they will NEVER have their shades open! How can you enjoy your big windows if you can never look out from them? That sort of thing works well when you're in a high rise; but not when I'm whistlin by your bedroom.

should of youtube it.
probably would of gotten millions of hits. -
Well OP I think you gave us a View in to the Vue.. You must have some very personal interest in getting this building sold and occupied.

the thing that amazes me about these condos is people can drop 800k to buy it then spend another 1500k to buy a spiffy flat screen tv and mount it on their wall, but they can't afford or take the time to put up any curtains.
I just love the duct taped sheets on all the windows of the crappy suite sixteen building on 16th street.
Very classy. -
suite 16?@!@ Ugh. How could any self respecting adult live there?!

Well... considering the mega size of these windows there is no question that the size demands custom made curtains. Yeah many of us have had that experience that the months after any move are cash short. Well for these people the shortfall is thousands short to cover those windows. That is why we see sheets hanging, secured by masking tape to cover windows on these near million dollar condos or the other alternative is what I have seen out my window...someone's naked butt parading infront of their window. I think they are saying, at that point... "Kiss my butt. I bought this 950k condo and I can't afford to cover the windows!! Kiss My ass!" My thought at that moment has beeen.. You Are an Ass!

Just a word to these people.. If you look out your window and see me.. I can see you.. and the solution is NOT.. DON'T LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOWS. i still CAN SEE YOU!! -
Jeremiah Moss of Vanishing New York writes some great stuff about some of the people living in those buildings. He calls them "yunnies", young urban narcissists.
