I feel great, I could have 8 more vodka drinks right here, right now. Oh and I was pissed last night, Crown Chicken had nothing last night, but for some reason I was compelled to get coleslaw that I didn't eat.

There was a doughnut in the trash, I definitely looked at it for a little too long, oh man.

Carnivore got there after midnight. Dan.h and friend were there before you guys left I think, but they were being scaredys at the bar. Freddy's was okay...but the strange amounts for drinks was too much for me. I need whole numbers...don't be throwing no quarters into the equation! My drunken brain can't handle it!

um. yes, $4.25? I either feel like a cheap ass tipping 75 cents or I over tip with $1.75. cause yo, I don't need those quarters weighing me down. beh.

Has anyone tried those personal pizzas at that diner near Mooney's? I've seen a few people with the boxes, but I haven't thought to try it yet.

Whats up with this?? We introduced ourselves just as soon as we woke up our livers! Its a little awkward to blow the doors open at a bar youve never been to and start screaming for DH'ers...

Admittedly, my brain is kinda fuzzy. But, any new person who does walk into the place screaming for DH'ers gets a drink from me, no doubt.

Well. I had a good time but I'm too old to wait up for Carnivore to get off of work. He did a good job of trying to catch up with us, though.

dan.h appeared after Carnivore arrived but I think he was there earlier but didn't know who we were or was shy (not that the vociferous laughter of Candisscima, katebklyn and lirio would intimidate any guy)

I like Freddy's, although not the Cringe thing. But I agree that it's generally too far away from home for most of the Dailyheights regulars. I'll try Mooney's next week (but will worry about the poor choice of beers on tap), but I think Soda is still the best place for us.

I don't know about you guys. I spent many a night at Mooney's during baseball season and think that bar way sketchier than Freddy's. (Call me crazy but when the average age of the cliental is hovering around 55 I feel a little out of place.) Of course its close proximity to Wing Wagon does add bonus points...

As for tipping, the bartender at Freddy's, realizing that I am probably not this generous of a soul, kindly pointed out last night that I had left him a $10 tip when I meant to leave $1. He did offer to wash my windows for the $10

So DH was a procrastination device before, but now it's turned into a complete work stoppage...

I *heart* Soda and have missed it these past couple of weeks, but it's been fun spreading the love through the neighborhood and going to places I probably never would have made it to on my own (like Freddy's and Mooney's next week). I think we're pretty much coming into the home stretch on our Bars of PH tour anyways. Mooney's, then Beast, and what else is there?

it's going to be tough to do a meetup at Beast -- they don't have a large bar area, and those tables are def. going to be for people having real sit down dinners, not a bunch of alcoholics scarfing down fried manchego bits with their wine.

and, if you're going to be fair, we also have to hit chocolate monkey, ripple, tavern on dean and half. if you are going to be fair.
