Breakfast For 10 In The Neighborhood — Brooklynian

Breakfast For 10 In The Neighborhood

Does anyone know of any place close to Pratt where a group of 10 could go for a mid-week breakfast?

Places like John's Donuts only have booths and that won't work. Does Maggie Brown's serve a full breakfast during the week?

  • Not extremely close, but Sugarhill on the corner of DeKalb and Nostrand is open for breakfast and can seat 10 easily. Its a southern-style restaurant so you'll get your fish & grits, chicken and grits, etc in addition to the pancakes and eggs. Call ahead to check the day because I know they are closed one morning (I think its Mondays).

Entrance to the restaurant is on the Nostrand Ave side under the awning.
  • Walk down to IHOP so you can work up your appetite and then walk off your breakfast :D

I appreciate the suggestion however we were looking for a "good" breakfast.

Lol, so Dunkin Donuts would work if they had the seating, but you turn your nose up at IHOP??? Not that I think a lot of either of them, but, huh?
  • john's donuts is dunkin donuts?

I apparently have reading comprehension issues.

    Please ignore me.

  • I like IHOP :(. You can also try Junior's. Don't know how their food is but they do open up for breakfast.
  • I like the Sugarhill suggestion.

My boss is from Georgia so I'm sure he'll appreciate the cuisine.
  • Ici, on Dekalb @ Vandy. They have a nice garden too.
    But I want to try Sugarhill . . .
  • Autour Du Monde, on Fulton and Clinton by the C train has a great brunch, it's not too expensive and they have a HUGE room. Two huge rooms, actually.
  • Subject: It's a Supper Club

I rode by the Sugarhill Supper Club this morning and it sure didn't look open. I also haven't been able to find anything on the World Wide Web that indicates that it's open for breakfast.

@ "homeowner"...when was the last time you ate breakfast there?
  • I was there about a month ago. Here's the number 718-797-1727.
