Any thoughts, opinions, positive and negative?
How is the neighborhood? What is there to do? Eat? Shop?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
PS How is the F train?
It's an excellent neighborhood and a great place if you have children , the shopping on Prospect Park West offers every thing to fill your needs, there are 24 hour grocery and fruit stores, also a bagel store, diner, two italian restaurants ,dry cleaners, shoe store, laundromat, card shop, candy stores, Doctors, and a Optometrist.
I use the F train on off hours, but have heard it's somewhat crowed in at am.
When you have the time I recommend you walk around the area and see for yourself. -
Thank you so much for answering-
We are still hesitating, as we just moved to PS last June and now have to move again- We had just gotten used to PS, and now here we go again! -
Windsor Terrace is not "the hood." It's actually a very lovely neighborhood. Being that you're in PS and WT is right next door, it shouldn't be much of a strech to walk the few blocks down to see for yourself.

Whatchuwant
The Hood refers to any and all neighborhoods-
Its short for neighborhood
I know what WT is, thanks very much- -

When you post about moving the "the hood" it usually implies (at least in this forum I have found), you know, the Hood. But if you're inquiring about the Nabe (short for neighborhood), then you may want to use that instead.
I really only tell you this because people may get offended if you're calling their "nabe" the "hood."
It's semantics. -
So sorry

where to exactly? answering that helps a lot in terms of telling you what's nearby. hamilton has got PPW covered. there is a key food on prospect ave & 11th ave.
i use the 15th st. station (F) every day. pleasant, relatively clean. i also usually get a seat on the train in the mornings (i leave at 7:15), as it always packs on the peeps at next 7th Ave. station.
there are other places worth mentioning, too, but again, it helps if i knows where you gonna plant yourself

Prospect Ave and 11th is APT
It seems very quite and wonderful
