secure mobipocket to plain text??

Hi all,

So I legitimately own some books in Secure Mobipocket reader format. Unfortunately, I have a Sony e-book reader and can't figure out how to strip out the b.s. so I can read the damn files on my e-book reader. I've googled around a bit but am obviously using the wrong language - I just keep finding sites telling me how awesome secure mobipocket is v. plaintext (DO NOT WANT). anyone know any good text ripping software?

have you checked www.mobileread.com? I bet kovid has a trick up his sleeve and if nothing else his software blows sony's outta the water. i use it to publish the economist feed to my reader so i can read it on my long ass commute.
