How have these furry little bitches turned so many cool people into drool-stained babbling ninnies? For the love of God, I would so much rather look at photos of your babies. Or your removed tonsils/gall bladders.
LOL. You can always post your German of the Month :)

Ahem... You have more than one?
I have 52 or 53. I haven't seen Pussy Galore in a few days.

Jealous, eh?

one of these kids is not like the others..."
Don't worry, you can have second pick of the litter and join our ranks...
 (I really tried to find a good Children of the Corn screen shot, but alas...)

Thank you! It's a him--Benny. And don't think he doesn't get mocked for being so pretty :)

Thank god he's one of the ones who does love to be brushed. Otherwise we'd be in serious trouble!

Oh, and Laura, those rescue kitties are adorable--I hope they find a good home soon!
• woof.

Well, encourage someone to post a doggy pic -- in their own topic to quarantine their foul presence...:lol:

You're calling us "drool-stained babbling ninnies"?

Hey, at least we don't need to be strapped to a barstool to keep from falling off. Maybe you really just need a booster seat.
• Okay, Cupcake may not like this, but here are my girls.

Apollonia:
Apollonia humps the scratching post

and Neely O'Hara:
Neely, seductive

They recently made their television debut:

• All these kitties are too cute. I wanna post my tuxedo pusses, but the pics are not on the internet. Is there a way I can post jpegs, or do I have to open a flickr account?
• They have to be hosted elsewhere and flickr is probably the easiest way to do that, these days.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot.

These are some picks of my boys who were rescued from the backyard by my neighbor, hours after their birth.
It was a severley cold March day in 1996 when momma gave birth in the cat house outside my neighbor's window. She realized their mother wasn't with them, so she went out to check on them. One kitten was already dead (days later two more were found in the yard). Both kittens were in bad shape so she rushed them to the vet, who said one was near death.
He was later named Mookie (after Spike Lee's character in Do The Right Thing). His brother, Bobo (after Mr. Burns' childhood teddy bear).
Now they are lazy fat housecats who enjoy watching suirrels & birds when they are not sleeping or eating.

I don't think my ass would fit into a booster seat anymore. In the meantime, maybe I'll get a helper monkey and train him to reach things on high shelves for me. Then I'll post photos of him all over the board! :P

In the meantime, I'll just slowly back away from this thread and take my anti-cat ire someplace else.

I use Photobucket, which is pretty easy. There was an old thread where Rhodamine explained how to post pictures in your message using this service, but I can't seem to find it now. [Mods, help?]

Thanks for the info. I set up a flickr account, for the time being, but I'll check out photobucket.
I've always thought there were a lot of tuxedo pusses in Bklyn. After seeing everyone's kitty pics, there are even more than I'd thought!

[MOD daveb]It's those buttons above your posting text box, the one that says "img", click it. Paste the url to the image (a url directly to the image, as in, if it doesn't end with .jpg or .gif, you're doing something wrong), then hit that "img" button again.

The correct code, prior to hitting submit and having the actual image displayed will look something like this:
<p></p>

After submitting, the code should display this:
image

As to where to get the direct url's to the images...
With Flickr, select the photo, You'll see some buttons at the top, one of saying "All sizes" with a magnifying glass. Click that and you'll be given a choice of image sizes available for that photo. Try to keep it on the small size, please. Once you've selected your size, you'll see a text box with the direct url to that particular image and size.

Photobucket, I believe has the URL displayed under all the images when you view your album.

[/MOD NOTE]
