Need apartment rental agent recommendation

I posted this on the real estate board, but no action over there. Hope someone here can help.

My mom is moving to Brooklyn from Virginia and needs an honest real estate agent to help her find a rental apartment. Based on a preliminary internet survey she's been focusing on Bay Ridge or Windsor Terrace, for pricing reasons. Anyone have someone they can recommend?

An honest, no b/s type would be good, and someone who'll work with her requirements (not one of those guys who show you the $2,000 apartments when you say you can only go to $1,750).
