New Flower Shop

and also, are the flowers cheap -- because i'd love to buy fresh flowers for my apartment weekly but can't afford to start that kind of a habit.

I have not been into the Myrtle location, but have shopped the 7th Ave (Park Slope) shop many times. The selection on 7th Ave is smallish, but thoughtful - lovely containers and planting pots - tends to be a bit pricey for everyday apartment flowers, but their bouquets are gorgeous and make wonderful hostess presents.
