Anybody hear that? It just stopped (9:04pm), but was going for at least 10 minutes. I know the Brooklyn Bridge stuff is tomorrow, so that wasn't it...

perhaps its related to this nike run that is mentioned in the brooklyn bridge celebration thread.. although can't seem to find any mention of that race anywhere between nike or nyrrc.hmmm

OK- it started again just a few minutes ago! It can't be the BB fireworks....can it??!?!! This is killing me.

Can you hear it? It doesn't even sound consistent enough for fireworks....

it sounds like some wild ass thunder but no rain has happened since. i asked my friend in the lower east side if she heard it and she didn't so it musta been fireworks. kinda sounded like it was comin' south east of me.

Couldn't see video (my computer's a haggard old man)-did they happen before 9? I thought they were supposed to happen at 9? This happen at 8:45 and went till 8:58.

I wouldn't even think about this so much, but because I heard the same noise, at the same time, 2 nights in a row now....it's just strange.
