  • Hey, we already did this in February. I'll have to check if I've changed though.
  • "Closest to Barack Obama, farthest from John McCain."

Heh, duh. (As his policy positions are one of the key factors that interested me in the first place)

One thing this misses is some way of factoring in the psychological component.

For example, factoring in the ability to grade something like (but perhaps not as pointed as) the following statement:

"After seven years of successive failures, scandals, dangerous policies and an extremely fatal, flawed and costly war, I simply do not trust the Republicans."

(and the mistrust equivalents for Obama and Clinton...and perhaps the flip sides, revealing any blind, kool-aid devotion to any and all of the above)

Hard to get a sense of the crossover voters and other funky dynamics in play otherwise.

    ***edited to add:

Then again, perhaps the whole point of this is to be a compass merely along policy lines, specifically meant to avoid all the other, more subjective (and often entirely emotional/gut) stuff.

Sort of a "just sayin', policy-wise..." guide.
  • Aw, man. I tried it a bunch of times but I kept getting Lyndon LaRouche.
