Anybody receive a NRIA notice?
We received in the mail a semi-official looking notice from the "National Residential Improvement Association" announcing a project called NY5-06 which "qualifies us for Sponsor pledged, NRIA certified discount rates for...siding, trim, replacement windows, exterior doors, etc..."
I looked their website up and didn't get enough info...
Does anybody know anything about this?? Did you get a notice??

There was someone who posted on the boards once about him/her being able to get a grant (not sure if it was State or Federal) for doing the facade of his/her brownstone. Maybe it is similar to that.
Found the blog I wanted to show you:

maybe check out www.bbb.com and do a search for their name just to get an idea what you're working with?

I also posted this on another forum and it seems that from that feedback that this is basically a scam...FYI...and thanks!

i got one too, couldn't figure out if it was for real or a scam, decided there was something fishy about it and tossed it on the garbage.
