Brooklyn Baby Daddy Blog ... You might like it
Hi,
I am a new poster, although a long-time reader of Brooklynian, and I thought, what the heck, you might be interested in reading my blog. It's called Brooklyn Baby Daddy, and the URL is http://www.brooklynbabydaddy.blogspot.com/
It's about what life is like for a pair of new Park Slope residents as they deal with finding affordable apartments (or not), birth, hospital administration, and the thoughts and feelings that come with a sudden change of life.
I'm an editor, and my wife is a Brooklyn teacher, and we've been here for four years. We love Park Slope, where we live, even though we know it's got a rep. And we love Brooklyn.
I hope you enjoy it. And I get no ad hits, so this isn't a commercial post. I try to keep the blog fun and funny, but I guess that's for you to decide. But, in any case, I hope you give it a shot. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Dave

Ahhh. I remember what it was like being a new dad, before I got old and jaded and cynical and the baby grew. Seems like it was all so recent.

Thanks to everyone that logged on. I realize the blog is kind of long, so for those who are interested it might make sense to start at the beginning, where my wife and I kill ourselves trying to find an affordable, nice apartment. Again, your mileage might vary, but I think it could be interesting for people who've been in similar situations:
