well see I hadn't ever thought of that drinking game I'd definitely lose. but seriously, I have some sort of mental block. people say their name, I say nice to meet you so-and-so, and then it vaporizes from my brain. I generally try to surround myself with people who have amazing name memory so they can discreetly remind me of who I am talking to. Perhaps we should bring back the carrie necklace of sex and the city fame, and start wearing our names in gold around our necks… -

One mirror is a miniature one like you'd see in the corner of an elevator and it mounts to my monitor. The other I picked up for $5 at Target and I'd have to sit on my printer to get anywhere near it. Never gotten vain comments, I think it's quite clear that I want to get away with goofing off at work. But they don't mess with the IT girl, or I'll block all their favorite websites. Tee hee. :twisted:

Just in the last year I graduated from a "back to the door" tiny cube to a "invite guests in to sit, and position your computer away from the door" larger cube, but everyone can still hear all my phone conversations and the random sounds that come from reading DH. of course if I could completely sequester myself from the office and no one could hear my conversations or see my computer, would I get any work done?
