The Longest of Long Shots, but....
Well, even if no one can help, everyone may be amused by the complexity of this problem, so here goes....
I'm hoping someone can come to my aid trying to find the number of my super. I'm in one of the brownstones on Clinton between Myrtle and Park, down by Park and across from the Benjamin Banneker Academy. The super for my building, and for a couple of the other buildings down there, is a Mr. Maroquin, who also lives in a different building on the block. He also sometimes lets out space in his garage for people to park motorcycles and cars.
My old roommate had the lease in her name, and handled all of the utilities and house-related stuff. But this Saturday, she moved out and is on her way to Australia. Before she moved, she signed everything over to me -- the lease, the utilities, etc. She also emailed me Mr. Maroquin's number.
However -- the day after she left, we had something break in the apartment -- and I cannot for the life of me find the email with the number.
If ANYONE on the block either has Mr. Maroquin as a super, or rents parking space in his garage, can you PM me his number? I've also tried finding a number for the landlord to get the number from him, but a) all the paperwork is at home, and b) I can't find either the landlord or Mr. Maroquin's number online.
Worst comes to worst, I can get the landlord's number tonight and call tomorrow, but I'd rather not wait a day...I realize this is an extremely long shot, though.
Thanks.

Oh my god. I think you live in my old building. I lived in the ground floor duplex for 5 years before surrendering it to a massive flood in 2003. I had Mr. Marroquin as my super but moved out in 2003. Number is long gone. Does Anthony Canning still own the building? He had an address and number on either S. Elliot or S. Oxford.
And does Gracie still live at the end of the row of brownstones?? Love that woman!! -
Mr. Canning does own my building, but I think he also owns another one on the same block, so I may not be in that building...I don't remember anyone named Gracie, but there was an older woman my roommate introduced me to when I first moved in who passed away a few months later.

Ah, yes. Mr. Canning owns two right next to each other so maybe not the same building...
Sad news if Gracie passed away, she was always very kind to us and was kind of like the mayor of that block. She knew everyone. -
Subject: Just a thought...
...have you checked near the mail boxes? Buildings are required to have various building info posted somewhere fairly obvious in case of emergency, including a contact number. -
the landlord's info is there, but not the super.
Howdy, Stranger!
