Prospect Park Animal Clinic — Brooklynian

Prospect Park Animal Clinic

Just scheduled an appt. for our two cats. We're just going in for basic checkups/shots, and (unfortunately) possible ringworm.

Any thoughts on this place? Based on comments here, I don't think it's a bad place. Does anyone have a ballpark idea of the cost we might be looking at? I really have no idea...no benchmark.

  • We took our newly adopted doxie there a few months back for a checkup, heartworm and flea/tick meds. The staff was really friendly. As i've never had to cover vet bills before, i can't speak to the accuracy of their billing but for a checkup, anal sac discharging, flea/tick, and heartworm meds it was on the order of 200$. I will be bringing our gal back there next time around.
  • I go here with my three cats and I am extremely picky about who I take my cats to. Dr. Holloway is a fantastic vet - be sure to ask for her.
  • I've been there with a couple of our animals and were very satisfied. I second the opinion of Dr. Holloway - she's very good. We've also seen Dr. Quim and like him very much.
