2Br on Dean/1Br on 4th Place - Advice needed

Hi,

Just wondering if someone who already lives in the area could let us know if these sound like okay deals:

2 bedroom on Dean Street, off Court (though not the best building) - $2400

1 bedroom plus den on 4th Place, off Court (owner occupied and really nicely kept) - $1850.

We're hopefully looking to move to the neighborhood but are weighing up which apartment to go for.

That second one sounds like a great deal in a nice area. Cool!

The first one is a better location in relation to the trains. Depending on your schedule the F and G are atrocious during the morning rush hour commute. A short walk up toward borough hall/jay street would be preferable considering there are more trains.

Good point. I'm stuck with the F, so that didn't even occur to me. Certainly something to consider.

Thanks - in the end we've settled on a place kinda in between the two for just under $2000, which seems like a decent deal.
