So has anyone tried any of the public pools in Brooklyn or the one in Astoria? I've always been curious. Are they disgusting and over-crowded?

They open June 27th this year.

Red Hook pool is excellent.

But as daver indicated, they can't open 'til Schools. Out. Fo'. Summah.
