Do I Need to Buy a Stand for My Outdoor Umbrella?

I want to buy an umbrella for my patio furniture. The table has a hole through it, and also another hole near the base (so it's held in place in 2 spots). Do I also need to buy a stand, or will that be enough?

That will probably be enough, but ultimately it depends on the weight/stability of your table, the size of the umbrella, and whether you leave it up in windstorms!

I was thinking of an umbrella like this:

I'm not sure how big the table is - one is round and fits 4 chairs. The other is rectangular and a little bigger. Right now I'm using the round one, but might assemble the rectangular one and switch.
