Remembering Coney Island

when it became to hot on the beach those who didn't rent umbrellas would sit under the boardwalk to cool off.

Most of the guys with girlfriends would spend the afternoon under the boardwalk, I can't imagine why.

The fill in took place after a brutal rape under the boardwalk.

Is that why they filled it? It's such a bizarre thing. I used to hang out under there when I'd cut out of school and hide out from the paddywagon.

yes when i was a kid, they use to be a huge homeless problem under the boardwalk.

much less people and alot more adventure for me as a kid.

The boardwalk was a great place to go to spark a joint as the beach is usually to windy.
