Er, I plead blindness! Yeah, that's the ticket! I was _blind_ when I was parking...

Actually, I've only had a car again for a few weeks. In the pursuit of stamping out obesity, the schools have replaced the candy treats of my school days with annoying stickers. My smaller children find it amusing to stick them on things in my apartment. That, and I'm a huge fan of duck tape, but not of the residue left behind. AND- I can be a bit freaky about removing the labels from things. Not that I took a screwdriver to scratch the labels off my bike, only to find that they had clear coated OVER it or anything. Bastards.

  • Goof Off smells like nail polish remover, but it works much better so I don't mind the smell as I'm usually done pretty quickly.

  • Never had a parking sticker (never had a car in NYC) so I got nothin' to contribute vis a vis the Goo vs. Goof in that regard.

It is Goo Gone. Here is a visual so you know what you're looking for.

I don't know how it smells , but even if it smells like poo who cares? As long as it gets that sticker off your car.Plus , it will be on the outside of your car so you'll never have to smell it.If smell matters that much then you could hold roses in one hand and apply the goo with the other, and take a whiff of the roses every 5 seconds.

  • Goo Gone is great, you just have to let it sit for a few minutes and it smells like oranges!

  • not sure if it will help you, but when I worked in a bookstore, we used lighter fluid to remove stickers from book covers and it doesn't damage them.
