I'm happy to do "happy hour" I just have other plans earlier and was hoping to join people in progress. I don't think other people should be discouraged about coming earlier, I presumed that would be the case actually. :?
I only put out there the "here at X time and there at Y time" because it seemed like no one was really interested in early for a change and I didn't want anyone to get lost in the shuffle/be sitting in Mooney's alone. I think might be the odd duck with later plans though. -
My head explodeth. We should never have left Soda.
What am I going to do with my Newbie and my Wings? -

I'll meet you at Soda at 5:15, I'm getting out early, Hallelujah! Amen. Maybe not, but if anyone is out early and bored let me know.

I might be up for that. But it'll take me longer to get home from Manhattan than that. 6:30 maybe?

Be brave, go to Mooney's! Someone else'll get there eventually.

I be more than willing to meet up with Emily and Cupcake at Soda and we can either walk over to BB or Mooneys together but I definately need a drink tonight

We have yet to meet but I am totally down for that. I'm going to shoot for Soda at 6:30 because, why not, and then we can go meet troops wherever else, but none of this 10 p.m. junk. -

Cool I can be there about 6:30-7:00 myself. I will check in the back for you ok? Can I call out the name Kate? -
sadly, my job is being dumb. when I figure out when I'm getting out of here, I'll txt people and make it out.
oh, and happy hour -- I rarely make it out of work in time for happy hour, which is why I'm always so late. I never have anything social going on before, sadly, and I'm acutely jealous of people who have normal jobs.

I will be ready to leave my house at 8pm. I will call KateBklyn because she knows where tha party is at.

and what REALLY sucks about missing happy hour is that I miss the cheap drinks! (we need a hysterical sobbing emoticon - crying isn't good enough to describe how I feel about this)

I'm planning on aimlessley wandering around soda, brownstone, and mooney's calling out for DHers.
okay really, I'm texting alafairnadia hoping she finds you before I come a looking and can direct me to the appropriate place. -
stupidest question ever:
does mooney's have wifi? cause, um, I might need to bring a laptop so I can be vaguely present at 'work'... -

If Mooney's had online access, it would be a 300 baud modem that you had to put the telephone receiver into the cradle of to use. -

crap i totally wish I could go to Brownstone and play someone in ping pong or something, I've only been down there once and it was awesome... unfortunately, I have a stupid paper due tomorrow and i'll be spending the forseeable future staring at Clint Eastwood's stupid face... stupid, handsome face... stupid, handsome, grizzled man face, drawing me in, stop squinting at me Clint Eastwood.
whoa, sorry. Any chance of a DH ping pong or air hockey tournament at some point? I think I remember hearing something about that way back when, I'd totally be down if anyone was playing. -
Geezuz... no, it's not the libations, it's the lack of sleep (<4 hours!) that's making me hurt. I'm really going home at 11pm next time... really...

I'm down... if I got the time! Need to brush up on the airhockey, though, as several can now attest... -

But how was the darts competition? -

It wasn't a competition. I think that if ol' Carny played a little, he might be pretty decent, but... it'll be a while.

I have a knee injury from airhockey.
and some sort of wrist injury courtesy of daveb and his need to show off his skillz.
why did I stay out later than midnight? in the alternate universe where I have a normal job, I'll be leaving these things at 9 p.m. I swear. -

this "knee injury" is a sad excuse for poor airhockey skills. I still contend that short people have an advantage. I had to sqaut down everytime I wanted to send you my death stare.

You were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-a-a-aaasted. I had to regulate. Besides, you got to punch me in the neck.

Just how do we earn these neck punching privileges? I missed all this violence. -

Next time, aim for the jaw! -

but you didn't. I specifically remember you doing some funny karate hand motion accompanied with a sound when dave was showing off/hurting alfairnadia with his aikido. at least, I think I do. -
