as blogs go...this is a pretty decent one. i like gothamist, brownstoner (sometimes those writing in can be extremely annoying and obnoxious) and only the blog knows...
I HATE the brooklyn heights and cobble hill blogs. BORING..........

i like brooklynian, the gawker, brownstoner, gothamist and i agree w/ just me: the brooklyn heights and cobble hill blogs are so boring and limited.

brownstoner is the worst. they're everything that's wrong with the change taking place throughtout parts of brooklyn and the city in general in my opinion

FYI, dailyslope and dailyheights are part of Brooklynian. Dailyheights was the original blog and message board. Dailyslope came next and took quite a while to really take off. The rest of brooklynian grew out of those two original boards.

Also, onlytheblogknowsbrooklyn is Smartmom.

I think I agree with you on that one. I do read that blog from time to time but indeed it is what a reasonable resident of PS would dislike about the hood and it is every cliche proven.

I really dislike that Smart Mom column too. Just don't think that mom is so smart about raising kids.

Not sure about this, but I assumed that THIS site is a message board not a blog. Maybe I'm wrong. I think of a blog as one individual person posting on various topics and others being able to comment. Actually if someone could clarify for me the difference between a message board and a blog that would be great. Thanks.
