Celebrate Brooklyn Concert Lineup

I've been to tons of concerts in my day and the only twice have I been in a really diverse crowd: Public Enemy in 1991 and Lyrics Born in 2003. Oh, and also DJ Q-Bert a few years back in San Francisco.

Anyone for the original Lollapalooza concerts in the early nineties? Now those were some eclectic line ups. Even take the later ones, '96 had Metallica, the Ramones, Rage Against the Machine, Waylon Jennings, Cheap Trick and Wu-Tang Clan on the same stage. Among others.

no pets allowed in, but you could sit across the path outside the fence with your dog. there are always tons of people watching without coming inside the gates. if you get there early you can claim a good spot for picnicking. it gets pretty crowded a little bit into the performances.
