Robberies in WT

My neighbor's car was broken into last night in WT.

Scary.

Well, fuck.
I went to move the car last night at about 2:30am (alternative-side parking today) and as I close the front door I saw a fire trucking making its way up the block, slowly. The lights were on and it was fully-crewed, but there didn't seem to be a huge level of urgency.

They stopped shortly in front of my place as I started walking to the car, and then once I started the engine they moved up and over by where the exit from Prospect Expressway spills into 18th & 8th, seemingly to let me through while still wanting to stick in the area.

They were still there, lights on, when I was walking back home 5 minutes later, but left as I was walking down the block. I wonder if it was related?

Perhaps they were imposters.

Sometimes they dress as Sanitation Workers and steal your garbage..

I wish they would dress up like French Maids and really clean my house and then steal my garbage

They do that on Tuesdays and Thursdays
