Crown Heights Photography Project — Brooklynian

Crown Heights Photography Project

Please come out and support our local photographers.
What was Crown Heights like in 1970? What is it like to be a 14-year old in Crown Heights today? What has changed, and what remains the same? Citizens Committee for New York City is promoting intergenerational dialogue between youth, adults, and seniors to engage in civic leadership with the Crown Heights Photography Project. The project brings youth together with adult grassroots leaders and activists to document their neighborhood using photography.

The photos are on display at the following dates and times:

April 26th 5-8pm
Restoration Plaza:
The Skylight Gallery
1368 Fulton St. 3rd Floor,Brooklyn

May 17th 5-8pm

June 13th 5-8pm

  • Hmm. Seeing as that I have a 14 year old, I do believe I will haul him to this on Friday. Is there an admission charge?

I've got no truck with that. I just don't want to show up with four kids in tow and find a $15 a head admission fee or something that I can't afford. Thx.
