Squeaks the kitten needs a home too!

Two hours after dropping Sox and Gemini off at their awesome new home, I got Squeaks from Kensington Kitties. He's about 5 months old, neutered, fully vetted, and loves other cats (he plays with Mumps and Grumps). Squeaks was named Bob but since he hardly meows and mostly squeaks I changed his name. He's affectionate but still a bit skittish and likes sleeping in hiding places. But he's definitely gotten more comfortable and comes out to play and get petted. He has a little eye infection which I'm treating with terramycin. It took a while for me to get close enough to him so that's why his eyes still look gunky.

Squeaks definitely needs to go to a home with another cat, he is dying for a buddy.

  • Squeaks looks like his tail was dipped in white paint. I love that!
We have a cat who squeaks. It's adorable. Squeaks is adorable.
  • so cute! I would take them all, but 2 is my limit.

Pfft, amateur... Just kidding, there have to be some sane people out there! Plus, my brood is used to having "boarders".

Poor Squeaks was traumatized tonight! He does not like being held and freaks out when I try. But I had to put that medicine in his eyes so I held his little tush down. I think he's forgiven me though. :)
  • Squeaks will forgive you if you put him in your cleavage like the kittens. :-)
  • Squeaks is too much like Grumps for that, way too independent for mommy stuff. Mumps on the other hand looooooves his mommy's boobies. :D
  • Squeaks is getting more comfortable with people, still a bit skittish but will approach you for pettings. He's also a feisty little guy, playing with Chatzee who's 3 times his size!
  • How is this little guys doing? Any updates?
  • Squeaks is still looking for a home, we did want to give him some time to get more comfortable which he definitely is. He'll still take off running if you make a sudden movement but he comes back much quicker than he used to. And he rough houses with cats 2 and 3 times bigger than he is with no problems.
  • How are Mr. Squeak's eyes doing? He's adorable
  • Squeaks' eyes are doing much better and he's turning out to be a really funny little guy. He plays with Chatzee, who is at least twice his size, and lets me scritch his chin now. He's got the funniest front legs, they're kind of bowed so he looks like a bulldog when he walks!
  • Squeaks is a perfect example of why I love fostering. When he came to me he was so nervous and freaked out, he hid most of the time and ran away when I approached him. Now he comes running up for petting whenever I go to the bathroom, he lays on his back in front of me (totally comfortable), doesn't run away when I walk by him, and has even laid on my bed (not when I'm in it but it's a start!). He's such a funny little guy, I really hope he finds a good home.

  • Squeaks! I love the interspecies lovin' going on in the second pic
  • Squeakies is still with me, still cute as ever, and still needs a home. By the way, he's a mighty hunter of waterbugs and I'm very very grateful for that!

As if anybody needed another reason to love Squeaks, there ya have it.

Maybe that should be on his flyer too :-)

  • Damn you, Caseo for invoking the "water bug". Stella found one last night and brought to me as a "present"....in my bed.

    Ick. Fuck. Blech.
