Thunder Storm

Not yet, but then again, I couldn't hear it over The Gowannus anyway.

Just heard some thunder (because I was listening for it) and the wind is picking up in Crown Heights.

I do :shock:

And I'll be walking in it cuz I got to go to the grocery store. It's 2 streets away so I guess I'm gonna get soaked. No umbrella. #-o

Now I hear it.

I hear it. It's ominous!

--And another thing it's sunny outside and it's gonna rain?? I don't appreciate that. :x

I don't know whether to put on a hoodie or just go out in a t? Is it hot out there? If i wear a hoodie I'm gonna be hot , if I don't I'm gonna be cold and my shirt is gonna be rained on.........I don't know what to do. ](*,)


Ok ok , it's not raining yet.......I think if I leave now no hoodie.....I might just make it back before it starts raining....

I got guests coming over for dinner tonight , and I don't know what I'm making yet....all I know is that everything I need is at that market.

The sunny rainy thing is always a total mindfuck for me too. When I was out and about earlier today, it was overcast, hot, and wet. And sucky. Happy to be inside now. Reading comic books, yay. Er, _Graphic Novels_ regarding the state of journalism and the war in Iraq, mean I. Yeah, comic books.

It started up pretty heavy here a few minutes ago, but the up side to these types of thunderstorms is that the rain may come down heavy, but it usually doesn't last long.

Hope it doesn't last now. I was planning to walk over to the Pie Shop and pick me up some dinner. If it keeps raining, I may have to order in and make some poor shlub ride his bike through this.

Just checked with the jeffrey weather service (got a window? open it!) and learned that it is now officially Hella Pourin'.

Ooh yeah? I walked outta the apartment without a hoodie. I went to drop my recyclables in the bins and while I was doing that it starts raining at apprx. 5:05pm . So , I walked my ass right back up and grabbed the first hoodie I saw........it didn't match my outfit AT ALL.....and.....umm......I wore flip flops and didn't remember to change into sneakers.#-o As I walked up Franklin the rain started coming down a little harder and my feet started slipping off my flip flops so it was kinda hard to walk....I was cussing....alot.

My gf & I got caught in the downpour as we BBQ'd on the back deck. Fortunately, the food was done just as the rain started picking up, so we were able to scurry under the big ole umbrella and stay [mostly; ok maybe partially] dry.

I missed summer thunderstorms like these...
