I am shocked it is still empty. Any ideas if anyone is taking that spot over?

  • I'm not shocked...the reason Cocotte closed is that they did not do a good mid-week business... beause it is a prime corner, I'm sure the rent is high....have to do a lot of business to keep up with the rent (and when I see people on this site that say "I love that place" just noticing that they closed I can see why they're gone)

  • The guitar shop closed right nearby and that spot is still empty too. They re-opened the shop, but the space remains.

  • How long can these landlords keep these storefronts empty awaiting someone who will pay exorbitant rent? Wouldn't they benefit by bending a bit and starting to bring in monthly revenue, or is it ultimately beneficial to keep a space empty for months and months until they rent it out at their desired amount?

  • Someone could at least paint over the lady in the red dress. Why tease us?
