I'm searching for gifts for some upcoming occasions, and the recipients are slopers and would love to support local. Any thoughts appreciated.

  • i find awesome gifts at matter, cog and pearl and bob and judy's antique store often...

all on 5th bewteen around president and berkeley place...

there's also a tibetan store (mandala?) on 7th and lincoln. not my cup of tea really, but lots of people really like that stuff...

there's also that earth friendly place on 5th down near-ish to blue ribbon. 3r living, is it?
  • Clay Pot, on Seventh.
  • There's a few cute non-jewelry specific but have jewelry shops on 7th ave between 10th and 15th.
  • I second the motion for Cog & Pearl and Clay Pot. I've bought earrings from Cog & Pearl and I love them. They carry lots of independent designers, quite a few are locals. We got my hubby's wedding ring from Clay Pot. I like their selection, but I always feel C & P has a better local variety.
