You mst be thinking about a restaurant other than Song. I could not imagine someone describe a place where most entrees are under $12 as "expensive." Unless the bottom fell out of the place in the past month, it's pretty packed most days.

I'd also never call Aunt Suzie's a place trying to be a five-star restaurant, unless that five-star restaurant is Carmine's.
Didn't we just cover this? You fell in the sarchasm!

  • Subject: Where to go

I've read all the posts, and I still don't know where to take my hubbie for our one year anniversary dinner. I want good food, quiet ambiance, and not too expensive. I have never been to Applewood or Blue Hill or Stone Park, but have been most of the other places. The problem is I'm a good cook, so I want to go out and enjoy something I can't make, but not spend a fortune. Open to all suggestions anywhere in Brooklyn if it can't be in Park Slope, I will move my car and give up my summer parking spot!
