Alternatively they could be called "People who live in Williamsburg."

I personally complain about Soprano-wannabe Italian-Americans, Puerto Ricans, Irish, Blacks, Hasidic Jews, and Chinese all the time. At times in my household it probably sounds like the bathroom scene from "25th Hour" where Ed Norton curses out every ethnic group in New York. However, no one brings out such a visceral reaction in me as yuppies and their hipster cousins (who are really just yuppies in incubation).

I used to let them get to me, but now I just laugh at them. Feeling sorry for them is really the most appropriate response, as they are going to go all the way to death like that, never waking up out of their rehearsed stupor or really living from the heart. They will go to the grave living life for other yuppies' approval, and there's no worse punishment than that.
