early bird/night owl swimming at SP pool?

I know the pool opens this Friday (6/27), but so far haven't heard any announcement of when lap hours start for adults. Calling the pool itself and 311 led nowhere. Anyone know if they're planning on doing it this year, and/or when it starts up? I'm eager to get in there! And this year I want a t-shirt!

I *think* the hours start on Monday for lap swim. 7-8 AM and 7-8:30 PM, Monday through Friday. If you find something different, let us know!

Okay, so the SP Rec Center said it starts THIS Monday, but the official phone number for the city says July 8th. The curt and unhelpful woman at the official phone number said that some pools have their own programs and she can't help me with those.

Renegade SP pool, forging it's own way. Wahoo!

Well, I'm showing up Monday and worst thing that happens is I have to turn around and go home, right?

As I recall from last year, that water is COLD at the beginning of the season! Maybe I'll bring a wetsuit.
