Subject: Where to buy men's clothes in Slope?
I need to buy some new clothes. I lost some weight, and need shirts. I live in South Slope and can't find anything nearby (am also new to 'hood). Where to go?Please, no more Brooklyn Industries. I have plenty.

Manhattan. Seriously. Go. $4 round trip on the Q to Union Square.

Manhattan. 5th Avenue between 14th and 23rd streets. You'll find what you need. Hop the Q train to Union Square.

go to Something Else?, but only once a season, as they rarely change their inventory every season. you're bound to find one or two things to add to your closet. this summer's got some particularly nice stuff, with some nice, colorful Paul Frank shirts.

Kinda crazy that there isn't a single men's clothing store in the north or south slope. But you want a cute t-shirt for your toddler, you're in all sorts of luck!

anyhow, you can always hit fulton street or the atlantic mall.
ain't no men's clothing in PS unless you're anorexic and have a trust fund, or conversely are huge and hit the square stores on 5th avenue neat the famed jackie's 5th amendment bar. -

Only if you can go during off hours. The crowds are too much. Waiting in line can take forever on weekends and weekday evenings.
There is some man boutique on 5th Avenue, somewhere between 9th Street and 1st Street that sells maybe three different styles of shirts in pastel colors.
It takes me less time to shop online or zip into the city than to pound the pavement in Park Slope or push through crowds in the Target/Chuck-E-Cheese mall.

Either go to the mall and go to Old navy or Burlington or, if you want to stay in the Slope-go to Square Stores on 5th Avenue and 8th Street. Wide variety of shirts, pants, etc..

try Century 21 on 86th St or go to Macy's on Fulton, if they don't sell coconut bras you can always borrow Flexichicks

There's George Michaels suits btwn the BoA and 99 cent store on 5th...is that place of a kind with the Square stores?

There is a men's clothing store in the Slope - that place on Bergen between 5th and Flatbush, next to Bump and Babeland. No idea what it is called, but it is definitely a store just for men. Probably quite pricey though.

Every now and again i will put a credit card in my poclket and take a power walk to Atlantic Mall early morning and get there around 9;30am... Mon-Fri this is the best time to shop there.. no crowds or lines. I either take the long walk back or take the 5th ave bus. -
Okay, okay. I get it. Back to Manhattan. Or go to the mall. Or order online.
It would've been nice to add one or two nabe shops too, but I guess it ain't happening.

has anyone been to Kings Plaza this decade? what's that looking like?
i also sometimes, other than the occasional Macy's trip into Manhattan, or a stroll over to Something Else?, save up all my clothing needs for one marathon run over to Garden State Plaza in Jersey. you could spend days at that mall.
