  • So you constantly remind yourself of a movie you think is stupid and a waste of time? Speaking of stupid...
  • It doesn't remind me of the movie at all, it is just a kewl sound. Listen! You'll like it!
  • Crank isn't a smart film, but it's not dumb either. The creators understand exactly the kind of film they're trying to make and they don't waver. As JR Jones wrote, the movie is empty-headed but it's pure and that makes it sharp and witty and fun.

Well, that's probably just 'cause of all the experience they have!

Oh my gish-gosh! JR Jones says it is empty-headed???

That's it. I'm with you now. It stands as a masterpiece of cinematic excellence.

  • We can't all suggest Reservoir Dogs and The Three Amigos.

Lol. And oh please, from the one who recommended Crank as "sharp and witty and fun?"

And further, let me add, that for someone who likes to tell everyone that everything they like is stupid, you shore do go _on and on and on_ when someone does it to you, haha!
  • I don't know about on and on, I'm just talking.

I don't care what your tastes are or if you don't like Crank. You picked out the easy mark on my list just as I suspected you or some other boring person would. Just like you've picked easy films to suggest in this thread. Plus, you use "Lol" and an icon in every post. Snooze.

Watch some of the movies on my list, you might learn something.

Why do you think that your opinion is the only valid one?

May I suggest adding 2 or 3 words to your statements above? "I think" or "In my opinion" would go a long way towards making you appear less "pissy".
Why would I waste my time saying "I think" or "IMHO"? Obviously it's my opinion. I'm writing it. That's so lame and PC.

And I don't think my opinion is the only valid one. It's just the only one I have.

For the same reason you'd waste your time creating a whole other thread to prove to us that you DO like stuff! It has nothing to do with being PC just being less douchey, IMHO.
  • If one's goal is to be "less douchey" or to win friends, sure, that's what one would do. I'm just not interested in such banal things.

So your goal is to be more douchey and lose friends, then?
  • On topic- if anyone here hasn't seen the movie Spun...you should hop on that. And make sure to get the unrated version- I made the mistake of renting the rated version from blockbuster once and it was a totally different movie.

  • Definitely, Can't Stop the Music.

  • I'm finally done watching those 3 movies.

    1. "But I'm a Cheerleader" - It had some funny parts. But not alot. It was an ok movie.

    2. "Whole New Thing" - I didn't like it. I didn't really even finish watching this one cuz I couldn't get into it.

    3. " A Tale Of Two Sisters" - This is a Korean horror /thriller film. It has subtitles. It is a really really really good movie. Creepy.......watch it alone in the dark...heeheehee! You have to pay attention to it. It has a twist..... You might get confused when they reveal everything in the end. If you watch it again you will get it.
