Thats a good one! Keep telling yourself it's fireworks.

Can't speak to your location directly, but I generally write everything off as fire works for two weeks on either side of the holiday. My mom was in town last week and we heard stuff that we couldn't figure out. We just kept telling her it was M80's on a timed firing string or something like that. They were all so evenly spaced....
Believing in fire works four weeks a year is a solid approach to maintaining your sanity. -
I don't know anything about that particular incident, but there are a lot of firecrackers going off lately for sure. Y'all can poke fun and talk about telling yourself that or maintaining sanity, I would suggest a walk around. You'll see the evidence, the folks setting them off generally don't pick up after themselves. The other weekend in Brower Park and saw multiple full packs that had been lit off, that must have been a humdinger!

I saw a couple guys lighting some fireworks off on Bergen and St. Marks last night (2 separate groups). They were aware of people walking by and weren't being dicks about it. My younger dog was staring up at the sky barking her fool head off at them. She does the same thing with thunder, I think she really thinks she can "get 'em".

I have been hearing all kinds of not sure if they shots or fireworks for weeks now.

I'm on Sterling between Nostrand & New York, and the shots were on my block. There's a house 4 or 5 down that has been partying every freaking night till after midnight in the backyard, ever since the past weekend. There were a number of gunshots, in two groups. I looked out the front after the shooting stopped, and there were about 15 young people looking confused, and I actually heard on of them say someone was shooting a gun into the air.
Jackasses. I can't wait for this weekend to be over. :x -
Going full blast on Lincoln and Franklin right now.

Last night on the north side of EP between Franklin and Classon. Whew! They blasted off so many M80's somebody eventually called the fire dept.

YEAH AND THEY WERE STILL GOING OFF AT 2 AM which is when i called the cops (the dispatcher said they had already been called and were on the scene, but then 15 minutes later they started up again). i don't like to complain and have never called in a noise complaint but it was 2 am and i had a 9 am meeting i had to be coherent for.

My roommate went on the roof to observe them and said they were throwing M-80s at one another and at parked cars, seemingly in an attempt to set off their alarms. By 3am they were setting them off directly in front of my building. Little twerps. Glad you guys called the cops.
Howdy, Stranger!
