Need Handyman Help

I plan on getting some furniture from Ikea soon and am in a bind here. See I have NO idea how to put anything together. Have you hired a handyman recently? Anyone you trust and would recommend?

A couple of years ago I hired "Bob the Builder" from the Coop but I lost his number and have no idea if he is still in the business.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For a charge Ikea will put together what you buy. I don't know if that would be for or less expensive than huring a handyman. Just a thought.

What furniture are you planning on getting? For a rate less than craigslist or ikea, I could probably get what you have in mind done.

I am getting a new bed. Nothing too complicated I hope. I may need shelves in my kitchen as well which is why I was asking about a handyman. Thanks everyone!

No problem, I have experience putting beds together. I can do bookshelves, entertainment centers, dining sets, desks.. you name it. I also have experience hanging shelving, both the simple kind that just use molly bolts on drywall to anchoring them in wall studs. Send me a PM and I'll see what i can do for you!

I hired a guy named Dan from the classifieds board to help me put together a bed and he did a great job ($25/hr.)
