I have somewhere to be around 9ish but I am going to come by around 7:30 for a drink.
  • I should have went home at 11:15... :(
  • nybt not only came, but stayed for more than 15 minutes? Sorry I missed it.

2 weeks in a row, none the less! Tried to stay home last night, but the text message army wouldn't let me rest... :P

Count me out for next week, though- I'll be in VA...

ah yes, it takes a minimum of 5 texts to get nybt out of his apartment (all a clever ploy to feel popular)
  • I'm a nice guy and people love me, damn it!

Now if only you were better at air hockey...

At least there was a bit of competition there... can't say the same for darts... When we doing ping pong and pool?
  • I wish I would have been paying more attention to these boards because I would have shown up last night, despite the rain.

    Ah, next week...

Any way we can hold it at alternating spots, other than Soda? I like both Chocolate Monkey and SugarCane...we can broaded our "outreach".

    Ideas?

That's bordering on blasphemy 'round here!!!
I think that when, if ever, there's a significant regular group, we leverage our numbers- "yeah, I can show up with 30 heavy drinkers... what kind of group rates do you have, or should we take our business elsewhere?!"

    "group rates." Forced buybacks!

We've been cycling around the neighborhood for the past month. We went to Freddy's, Mooney, Sepia...(was there somewhere else?) We want a rest and we're back at Soda through the holidays probably.

Too fuckin' right! (heard Ewan McGregor say that on a behind the scenes clip for Episode I and I think that it needs to be said more often...)

But damn the service was slow last night :(

A 'relaxed' pace is great for a nice dinner, but out of place at a neighborhood bar... they could sell a lot more if they made the rounds more often. Damn it, I'm opening a bar!

Can I sell cheese there? :D
  • Sure, but no Stevie/Fleetwood on the jukebox.
  • I absolutely HEART Soda, but they do need one or two more waitresses. The molasses-like service is the #1 complaint I've heard about that place. Even from those of us who feel the love.
  • It seemed like they were down one this week. One girl was working the entire backroom I believe.

    My point exactly.
