Alto Recorders

Hiya -
My wife and I play alto recorders, we're at sort of an intermediate level, and we're amateur musicians. If there's anyone out there that plays altos, sopranos, tenors etc. that would like to get together to play just for fun let us know. Maybe we could exchange music to get an idea of what level we're playing at.

What kind of music do you play? My friends and I, being the huget geeks on earth, used to play medieval music together, and I probaby still have a soprano recorder lying around somewhere. I'm not sure I remember how to play it, though.

Hey - I resemble that remark - We play a little medieval, but we really enjoy middle baroque - Boismoitier, Valentine, William Gorten, it's mostly french and english stuff from the early-mid 18th century. Our teacher gave us a method book of medieval duets and we're working through it, we find the rythym a little tricky but enjoy the harmonies.
