  • Slim. Not slimMING.
  • because american apparel runs so small that you have to become a heroin addict to fit into them?

I'm not EVEN that fat and I can't wear ANY bottoms from that store. I look like a tied up pork tenderloin in their bathingsuits. Clearly they are not designed for ladies with junk in the trunk
  • They're not slimMING. They're SLIM.

The difference being: slimming slacks make you LOOK skinny. For SLIM slacks, you have to already BE skinny or they won't fit.

Welcome to the wacky world of women's fashion.

HA! So true- only thing I buy there (except for a moment in time this spring when I bought this pink tube-type dress thing...wtf was I thinking???) is leggings.
  • I don't like slim jeans. One reason cuz I got too much junk all over the place. My ass won't fit into that shit.Another reason is bcuz I have this thing where if the jeans are not wide enuff to fit over my sneakers I will not buy them. I hate hate hate when the leg opening is like 10 inches. Leg opening must be at least 19 inches.

    Screw American Apparel.

    It's all about American Eagle,baby.

I got my eyes on these jeans. Leg opening is decent. Good price.

I want them and I shall have them.

Same here....plus it looks vaguely soft-core porn-ish. I'm sure people wonder what site I'm looking at when they pass by...not good for those of us who work in open cubes at work!!

That said, it's not as bad as the weird terrorized child cut 'em up movie promo we had going a while back.

Still, I think it's time for a change.
  • nothing's more disturbing than a woman who hasn't ripped out her hair and slathered her face in paint, after all.

    consider my eyes rolled.

:D That's totally your style, I like it. But for me I'd want a darker wash, jeans fade to fast as it is and the last thing I want it to sport that sandblasted 80's look! [-X

did anyone else notice that the purple jean'd girl has a broken right ankle??

Um...if you put your jeans on _before_ your sneakers, you could probably solve that problem.
  • I was wearing these a few days ago and my husbands niece was pointing at one of the rips and telling/complaining to her mom that my jeans are "broken". She didn't like them bcuz they are ripped and she started saying it louder over in over again while pointing at them that they are broken......the kid was nearly in tears bcuz of my jeans. I was like what business is it of yours little girl? Then her mom took her into the bedroom so that she wouldn't have to see my "broken jeans". I guess it bothers her that they are ripped and that I am wearing them. Whatever , yo.
